Settings

Open Settings via the gear icon in the header. The page is split into five panels — Account, Notifications, Fantasy League, Streaming, and Admin — picked one at a time from a left rail on desktop or pill buttons on mobile. Each panel is deep-linkable, so a shared settings link lands on the right panel.

Auto-Save

Section titled “Auto-Save”

There is no Save button — changes save automatically:

  • Toggles and selects save the instant you change them.
  • Text fields save when you click away (with a short debounce), and a “Saved.” indicator confirms each write.
  • Invalid input shows an inline error and is never saved.

The one exception is keeper rules on the League page’s Admin tab, which use an explicit save button.

Account

Section titled “Account”

Your identity and preferences:

  • Name and Email — read-only, managed by your sign-in provider.
  • Favorite Teams — an expandable grid of all 30 MLB teams organized by division; tap to toggle. Auto-mode on Batter’s Eye Live prioritizes games for these teams.

Notifications

Everything about alerts lives here: the push on/off status card with Send Test, the per-event Triggers panel, Quiet hours, and the Devices list. See Notifications for every trigger and behavior, and Push Notifications for browser setup.

Fantasy League

Section titled “Fantasy League”

Connect your ESPN account to import leagues, rosters, and transactions. Enter your espn_s2 and SWID values — they save together once both are filled in, and a “Where do I get these?” expander walks you through finding them in your browser. See Connecting ESPN for the full walkthrough.

Once saved, a status card shows whether your credentials are valid and when they were last checked, with Validate, Edit, and Delete actions. Deleting warns you that your linked leagues will lose access to roster data.

Streaming

Section titled “Streaming”

Connect your personal IPTV/HLS server to watch games inside Batter’s Eye:

  • Stream Source — your server’s base URL. The field validates the URL and recommends HTTPS for anything beyond local use.
  • API Key — grants your stream server access to your account. Generate Key shows the key once — copy it immediately. You can Regenerate (which invalidates the current key, with a confirmation) or Revoke at any time.

Admin
