Joining a League
Leagues in Batter’s Eye are linked to your ESPN fantasy baseball league. Once connected, the platform syncs your roster and provides personalized analysis.
Joining an Existing League
Section titled “Joining an Existing League”If someone in your league has already set it up:
- They’ll send you an invite link (valid for 7 days, single-use)
- Click the link while signed in to Batter’s Eye
- You’ll be added to the league automatically
That’s it — you’ll immediately see the league in the dropdown in the top-right corner of the app.
Creating a League
Section titled “Creating a League”If you’re the first person from your ESPN league:
- Go to League in the navigation
- Click Create League
- Enter your ESPN League ID — you can find this in your ESPN fantasy league URL (it’s the number after
leagueId=) - The platform will sync your league’s rosters automatically
Inviting League Members
Section titled “Inviting League Members”After creating a league:
- Go to League > Members
- Click Generate Invite Link
- Share the link with your league mates
Each invite link is single-use. Generate a new one for each person you want to invite.
Connecting Your ESPN Credentials
Section titled “Connecting Your ESPN Credentials”Some features (like roster sync) require ESPN credentials. See Connecting ESPN for details.
Adding Multiple Leagues
Section titled “Adding Multiple Leagues”You can add as many ESPN leagues as you want. Just repeat the Create League steps above with a different ESPN League ID. Each league gets its own roster sync, ownership data, and analysis.
Switching Between Leagues
Section titled “Switching Between Leagues”If you’re in multiple leagues, use the league dropdown in the top-right corner of the app to switch between them. Your selected league affects what you see on the My Team page, ownership badges on the Players page, and pickup recommendations.
